Eva-Last celebrates its birthday in alignment with Global Sustainability Treaty   

In March 2022, United Nations member states – including South Africa – endorsed a historic resolution at the UN Environmental Assembly. This resolution will see a treaty to end plastic pollution in place by 2024. According to the UNEA, the treaty will be legally binding and govern the full life cycle of plastics, from design and production to disposal. The resolution calls for greater international collaboration in dealing with single-use plastics, which have become an ecological disaster.
